Advanced Technology

Precision Dentistry

When you seek care at our office, you are assured that Dr. Monier and staff utilize the latest in technology to enhance the quality of  your dental care.

Dentistry is micro-surgery, and our practice uses high power magnification to enhance the precision of patient care. Using magnification enables us to create dental restorations with incredibly accurate fit and finish.

Intraoral Camera

Dr. Monier utilizes intraoral camera technology that helps enhance your understanding of your diagnosis. An intraoral camera captures detailed images of mouth, teeth and gums and transmits them to a monitor for you and the doctor to view. This helps you make informed choices for your treatment.

Digital Imaging

Digital radiographs enable us to detect cavities in between your teeth, determine bone level, and evaluate your oral health. We can also examine the roots and nerves of teeth, identify lesions such as cysts or tumors, as well as assess injury when trauma occurs.

With digital imaging, exposure time is much less than traditional radiographs, creating a safer dental experience. Stored digital images can easily be retrieved and used for diagnostic comparison, enabling you to better understand changes in your oral health.

Laser Technology

The team at Ardent Dental uses laser technology to perform soft tissue (gum) procedures. The laser concentrates energy in the form of light allowing for greater surgical precision, more predictable results, and reduced patient post-operation discomfort because little or no anesthesia is required.

Dr. Monier effectively uses laser to recontour gum tissue to look more attractive around natural teeth, veneers, and implants. Laser technology is also used for treating canker sores, removing small areas of tissue , desensitizing inflamed tissues, and teeth whitening.

Laser treatments are safe and effective for both children and adults.
